In accordance with the present movement in Classics to reassess how issues such as race, ethnicity, class, oppression, and power are approached from the Classical lens, scholars have looked at the methodologies of Latin pedagogy and have found unsettling trends in how Latin has been taught. Passionate Latin educators are speaking up about the need for a reimagining of Latin pedagogy so that the study of Latin might persist into the future and even offer valuable tools for the ethical, equitable, and sustainable study of Classics.
The resources in this section aim to elucidate the state of Latin pedagogy, offer solutions for its improvement, and help to carry the study of Latin into the future.
